Speech disorders affect an individual's ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings including the home, work and social environments. Our speech and language therapists will provide individualised treatment plans which will be tailored to the individual's specific needs and abilities. Speech and language therapy can be very beneficial for individuals with speech disorders and aims to improve their intelligibility so they can communicate more effectively with others. In more severe cases the speech and language therapist can explore alternative forms of communication with the client.
