Our signing service
At SLT UK we can offer an additional service of supporting individuals and families who communicate, or wish to communicate via sign language.
Sign language is a non-verbal language which uses visual gestures and signs as a form of communicating. Sign language is commonly used within the deaf community and also by some individuals who are unable to speak due to an acquired or developmental condition.
Sign language can additionally be used to support language learning and for individuals with limited communication.
What will sign language at SLT UK involve?

Individuals of all ages and abilities can benefit from signing. Signing can be used as an individual’s main method of communication, or it can additionally support those with limited communication.
