Our speech and language therapists offer a training service for the families and carers of individuals with speech, language and communication needs. We also provide training for families and carers of individuals with eating and drinking difficulties.

What type of training do SLT UK provide for families and carers?

Our speech and language therapists will provide training packages to suit the specific needs of the families or carers. Our training packages can cover any aspect of speech, language and communication. Common speech and language therapy training for families and carers include:

• Facilitating communication.
• Eating, drinking and swallowing management.

Our training packages focus on providing education and skills on how best to support adults with speech, language and communication needs.

Our training packages will increase the knowledge and understanding of families and carers and provide them with the skills for them to communicate as effectively as possible with the individual with speech, language and communication difficulties.
